2008 ODP National Camp Player Registration & Information
Overview Over the course of the season, the top US players in the USL Super Y-League were selected by the ODP Scouting System to attend the ODP National Camp. During an intense three-day combine at the ODP National Camp, players will be evaluated by ODP Staff Coaches and US Soccer National Coaching Staff for US National Team Programs. During this time, players will learn the demands to compete at the highest levels of the game. In addition to the primary focus of identifying players to US National Team Programs, many collegiate coaches will be scouting players for college soccer programs. National ODP Camp Dates

General Detail, Information, and Registration Directions Player Flight ParametersAll players need to fly into Orlando International Airport between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM EST on the first day of their scheduled camp. All return flights must be made no earlier than 4:00 PM EST on the final day of their scheduled camp. All players should have flights arranged prior to completing the online registration. There is a space in the registration process to submit the players flight information. In the event flight information is not available, this can be completed later by clicking here to complete the online flight form.
On most airlines (and there are a few notable exceptions), if a player is 14 years or younger, their parents will have to fill out a Travel Authorization From for Athletes of Minority Age, when arriving at the airport for departure check in. Please click here to review this information.
Bus Transportation Details • The airport shuttle will pick up all players at Ground Transportation on SIDE B. After getting off the plane, collect your baggage and go down the escalators or elevator to the ground transportation on SIDE B.
• If you land on SIDE A of the airport, get your bags and follow the signs leading you towards SIDE B. Once at SIDE B (color coded in green), take an elevator or escalator down to level 1 (ground transportation).
• After you reach ground transportation level 1 SIDE B, go to the shuttle area numbers 18, 27, 28, 29, and 31.
• Tiago Lopes, a USL representative, will be in the area mentioned above inside the automatic doors where the rental car counters (Alamo, Enterprise, National, Avis, etc.) are located.
• If a player is in need of special assistance and needs to be picked up at the gate due to airline security, please contact Sean Trask odp@uslsoccer.com or 813.963.3909 x242 to ensure everything is properly coordinated. Please understand that there are multiple players in need of assistance, so contacting us for proper coordination is extremely important.
• All buses will depart on the last day of the event at 1:00 PM to return each player to the proper terminal. USL staff will be present for any special needs that players may need with ticketing.
Rooms Accommodations and Facility • When the players arrive on the first day of camp, they will be provided dinner at the facility, starting at 4:00 PM. So, if a player is an early arrival, it is suggested they eat at the airport before they leave for the facility.
• All room assignments are made by USL staff. • Players will need to bring $10 for a room key deposit. This will be refunded when the key is returned on Sunday. • The players will not be able to leave the Cocoa Expo Center site during the weekend. • There is a coin operated laundry facility at the dorms (soap will be provided). • All linens are provided by the Cocoa Expo Center, although for comfort, it is highly suggested to bring your own linens and pillow. • Water will be provided for all games and training as well as an athletic trainer. Tape will be provided by USL’s training staff. Also, it is suggested that players bring sports drinks and snacks for the camp since they are not permitted to leave the site.
Player Equipment • At the event, players will receive: game schedule, 2 match jerseys, 2 match shorts, training shirt, and 2 pair of black socks. Goalkeepers will receive the same except 2 separate goalkeeper jerseys instead of 2 match jerseys. Players will be able to purchase additional shorts and socks separate from the registration fee during the online registration process. • Players must also bring their own shin guards and soccer shoes (cleats, running shoes, sandals, and turfs). • Players are recommended to bring an extra pair of black shorts and black socks to wear during the weekend at their own discretion. Parents/Guardians - Dorm & Field Rules • Parents/Guardians will not be allowed inside the Cocoa Expo Center dormitory or cafeteria for this event. Staff, Players, and Volunteers are permitted inside the facilities. • Players will not be able to leave the premises for any reason. • Parents/Guardians will be allowed to observe matches on the last day of the camp only. All other times will be closed to spectators.

Emergency Medical Release & Waiver of Liability (.doc) (.pdf)
This form must be brought by the player and given to the USL Staff Member when checking in at the Orlando International Airport or the facility. Failure to provide this form will result in the player not participating in the event. US Club Soccer Player Passes
All players are required to present their valid 2008 US Club Soccer player pass at the ODP check-in. Failure to provide this pass will result in the player not participating in the event. Please contact your club administrator if there are questions about obtaining the player pass.
Refund Policy
A 50% refund of $157.50 will only be issued if a player becomes injured or is unable to attend due to illness. A signed medical note from a physician must accompany the refund request. All refund requests must be sent to: USL, attn: ODP, 14497 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 201, Tampa, FL 33618 or faxed to 813.963.3807 . Prior to mailing or faxing this information, please call the ODP staff at 813.963.3909 ext. 242 or email odp@uslsoccer.com to inform the ODP staff that the player will not be attending. Failure to provide a phone call or email prior to mailing the medical note will result in no refund being issued. All refund requests must be made no later than 3 weeks prior to the start of the ODP National Camp. No refunds will be issued for additional gear that has been purchased. If additional gear has been purchased, USL will send it to the mailing address that has been provided.
Player Registration Directions To complete the online registration process the following will be needed: • Any medical conditions that the player may have. • All emergency contact information.
• A Visa or MasterCard to complete the $315.00 registration fee.
• Flight information is not needed at the time of registration, but it is recommended to secure air transportation within 72 hours of registering. If player does not provide the flight information on the online registration, please complete the airline information form once flight reservations have been made by clicking here.
• If you have been selected as an Alternate to the ODP National Camp, only register once the USL office has contacted you to inform you that you have been selected to attend the ODP National Camp. In preperation for the USL office to know which Altnerates are available, please send an email with the players name, alternate divisional team and age group selected to, phone number, and player/parent email address to odp@uslsoccer.com or call with this information to 813.963.3909 x242.
