Minimum Requirements For Entry:
Teams / Clubs must be at the highest competitive levels within their State / Region / Province (Canada). Each organization must secure a facility within the minimum standards of the league. All teams must have a team manager for the duration of the season that will be responsible for all team management, communication, scheduling and registration. Other details for Game Day Operations will be provided before the season.
Geographic Composition:
The four regions of U.S. Soccer will be divided into 12-14 Super Y-League Regions. Some of the larger regions such as the West and Midwest may be divided into smaller sub regions. Bordering regions with Canada will contain teams from nearby Provinces. The Super Y-League will contain the following Conferences and Divisions for the 2004 season:
Northeast Confernce - New England, Metro, Mid Atlantic Divisions
Southern Conference - South Atlantic, Florida, Mid South, Texas Divisions
Central Conference - Midwest, Great Lakes, North Divisions
Western Conference - Northern California, Southern California, Northwest, Southwest Divisions
Schedule:
The regular season will consist of 16-22 games. The Divisional champions will culminate the season with the League Finals, which will consist of a minimum four games with the other Divisional champions at a designated host facility.
Dates:
Regular season play will begin no earlier than January 1, 2004 depending on the geographic region. The regular season will end no later than November 7, 2004. The Finals date has not been determined, but will take place in late November or earyl December. Depending on the Division, league dates will vary. Some league play may be completed by Spetember 1 for scholastic reasons. Each Division will set its schedule of matches.
League Fees:
The league fee of $1000 covers administration, scheduling, referee assignment, public relations, marketing, regular season standings, statistics, web site set up, regional administration, ODP player identification and the staging of the Super Y-League Finals.
Performance Bond:
Each club will be required to provide a Performance Bond of $1000 to insure that the commitments of each of its teams' game schedules and minimum standards compliance. Bonds will be returned at the completion of the 2004 season.

26-player pool maximum (18 player game day roster)
Immigration/Nationality:
No restrictions.
Recruiting:
No restrictions. Teams may recruit players year round. The Super Y-League is not subject to USYS State Association "poaching" laws. USSF Bylaws allow for coaches of USSF member organizations to recruit year round for the Super Y-League season.
Registration:
