Marcos: This will vary from state to state, depending on any restrictions within a team's state association. Super Y-League teams are free to enter any worldwide competition, including US Youth Soccer-sponsored events, as long as local and state rules allow such teams to participate. Our relationship with U.S. Club Soccer provides a national cup competition for the SYL teams. Although, the Snickers Championship is deemed the primary national cup, over time this may change with U.S. Club Soccer’s growth.

Weibe: There are many teams that have entered outside SYL activities within tournaments or abroad. Most tournaments are open to all U.S. Soccer members. A SYL team could apply to the Dallas Cup, Sun Bowl, Surf Cup, etc. Teams that wish to compete in tournaments or games abroad may do so as well as a SYL team.
