Marcos: It is our feeling that US Soccer will ultimately create its own national open cup for youth teams, a cup competition for all members of the US Soccer family, (and we strongly urge the US Youth Soccer to do so.) However, because of the vast number of teams out there, there will never be a true national champion that can prove it stands head and shoulders above all the other teams in the United States.
Weibe: Overall I think that there are going to be some big youth changes shortly. Certainly the change in focus on youth development in the U.S. and Canada is evolving. I think that the U.S. is on the right path.
