Letters From Switzerland SYL Selects get acquainted with the United Nations Israel-Palestine Peace Team Day Five Sunday, July 31 This morning the boys had a light training session in the town of Trieson in the Kingdom of Liechtenstein. The session took place on top of a parking garage approximately 1,000 meters high. It was a very unique setting over looking the entire country. After the training session the boys had an opportunity to meet and get their picture with the Peace Team. The Peace Team 2006 consists of players from both Israel and Palestine. They will be playing in the opposite group from the U.S. boys in the International Swiss U16 Swiss Cup.
Forward Tyler ArnoneThe trip is going very well for me and the team. Its an experience that will never be forgotten. We played our first game yesterday and played very well. Our team moved the ball like we have been playing together for years. We won a deserved 5-0 game. We have a very good group of players and coaching staff, two things needed to win the tournament. Switzerland is a beautiful country way different from New York. I am taking in all in U.S.A. all the Way!
Midfielder Nick Millington Just like playing any other game but when you look up you are dumbfounded by the beauty of the landscape and country.
