TAMPA, FL – In lieu of everyone’s third-favorite holiday (Halloween, as voted by players in the Super Y-League), USLsoccer.com asked players from several SYL teams headed to the annual North American Finals, Friday, November 20 through Tuesday, November 24, to discuss October’s ultimate holiday. Starks: Didier Drogba – he is super-awesome.

Starks: A neighbor of mine gives away scratch off lottery tickets.

Neves: Wayne Rooney or Nemanja Vidic – they’re the amazing players. They cause problems to the opponent and they are very affective in what they do.

Neves: The banks in my community give away soccer balls, t-shirts and candy.

Canino: Halloween is my third favorite holiday.

Canino: Lionel Messi is the scariest striker of all time. He is an amazing soccer player. He is extremely fast and has the ability to dribble past the entire team.

Canino: The Creamery Ice Cream Shop. They give away a scoop of ice cream. Chocolate, of course, is my favorite.

Foody: No one seems scary until you play against them. The best are the scariest when they play on the opposing teams.

Drake: Facebook – Not sure how, but I will.

Drake: The funniest costume I have heard of was a life-size plastic army man. It is a great idea if you could pull it off.

Drake: It is ranked fourth behind Kwanza, White Tee Day, Don’t cry over spilled milk day and Be Nasty Day. All are real holidays.

Drake: I do not eat candy. But if I did, it would have to be Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Mmm...

Drake: I will be going to Saunders Farm. With spooky hay rides where my date is able to throw her arms around me when she gets scared. ; )

Drake: It would have to be that guy from this movie, where the girl is being chased by that dude in the mask with the chainsaw. If you were playing against that guy you’d be pretty freaked out too, right?
