ORLANDO, FL -- Florida Soccer Alliance is proud to announce their 2010 Super Y-League tryouts, which will begin February 17 and run through February 28. FSA Freedom will field a team in each of the 10 age groups for the upcoming Super Y-League season.
FSA Freedom featured two National Final participants in 2009 with our U13 Boys and U16 girls traveling to Tampa for the SYL North American Finals at USL Soccerfest 2009. FSA Freedom is proud of the success of their Super Y-League Program, entering it's third year, as well as the development of all players who have participated and benefited from the excellent training and top notch competition.
Director of Coaching Bobby Hurring will be guiding this years Super Y-League Program and has been pleased with the early response. " The response has been promising," said Hurring. " I think the success of 2009 has caught the attention of many players throughout Florida."
"We have seen many of our teams here at FSA benefit from playing over the summer," added Hurring. "Their individual skills and comfort level with the ball at their feet has progressed rapidly." "Super Y-League allows the kids to compete against all levels througout Florida."
"FSA Freedom Super Y-League Program also gives the player the luxury of participating at a high intense level over the summer while still giving them the rest and time off, to enjoy being kids." added Hurring."
"Sometimes the players are forced to make tough decisions during the summer regarding soccer camps, family vacations, and comittement to their Super Y-League Team."
" We help guide them through this process," said Hurring
All players who register for Super Y-League will be eligible for the Super Y-League National ODP Program. Last year seven players from FSA Freedom were identified and selected to participate in ODP National Camp.
