U17 Boys North American Finals
Super Nova FC U17 boys are making their third trip to the Super Y-League finals. Representing the Mid Atlantic region, their only loss in the U16 tournament last season was to the eventual champion, Mountain WFC in one of the most entertaining games of the week. With the score tied 3-3, the Whitecaps were able to score with minutes remaining to secure their spot in the championship game. Since playing in their first North American Finals as U12's in the U13 bracket, this group has worked tirelessly and consistently to make it back each year.
U16 Girls North American Finals
Quickstrike’s ‘93 girls, coached by George Vizvary, accomplished much in the past two years. In both seasons, the girls finished atop the Mid Atlantic Region of the Super Y-League and advanced to the semifinals in the 2008 finals. In winter of 2008, the girls were crowned NEWSS Cup Champions (photo). The spring 2009 season brought a championship of Region I Colonial League and NY State Cup semi finalists. In the summer the team brought home the National Championship of the US Club National Cup tournament played in Virginia Beach.
