Super Y-League announces ODP National Camp Dates
Cocoa Expo to provide facilities for top youth soccer players in U.S.
July 22, 2004 - Tampa, Fla. - The Super Y-League announced today that the Cocoa Expo in Cocoa Beach, Florida, will host the 2004 se  ason Olympic Development Program (ODP) National Identification Camps in January of 2005.
Those attending the ODP National Camps include the Divisional Select Teams in the U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17 boys and the U14, U15, U16 and U17 girls age groups. The selected players for the ODP National Camps will contain players that have demonstrated exceptional ability during the 2004 regular season and have been identified for further evaluation for U.S. National Team Programs. The Super Y-League ODP National Scouting Staff will select these players at the end of the 2004 season with Divisional ODP Teams being announced in mid-September.
Once selected to the National Camp, players will be evaluated by U.S. Soccer National Staff Coaches for U.S. National Team Programs. Players will also be evaluated by the league's ODP National Staff Coaches for selection to the Super Y-League National ODP Team.
The National ODP Selection Camps will be lead by Super Y-League Technical Director and former U.S National Team player Peter Vermes.
"Over the past year the Super Y-League has received a tremendous amount of support from the soccer community. The US Soccer National Coaching Staff has also provided us with the support needed to help build this program," said Vermes.
Other attendees at the Super Y-League ODP National Camps will include professional scouts and many of the top collegiate coaches from across the United States.

U13 (Born on or after 1/1/91): January 7 - 9, 2005
U14 (Born on or after 1/1/90): January 7 - 9, 2005
U15 (Born on or after 1/1/89): January 7 - 9, 2005
U16 (Born on or after 1/1/88): January 28 - 30, 2005
U17 (Born on or after 1/1/87): January 28 - 30, 2005
Super Y-League National ODP Camp Girls Dates
U14 (Born on or after 1/1/90): January 21 - 23, 2005
U15 (Born on or after 1/1/89): January 21 - 23, 2005
U16 (Born on or after 1/1/88): February 4 - 6, 2005
U17 (Born on or after 1/1/87): February 4 - 6, 2005
