UEFA and Euro 2004, S.A. are pleased to announce the opening of online ticket applications for the final tournament of UEFA Euro 2004™ which will start on 12 June 2004 with the opening match in Estαdio das Antas in Porto.

 

We are offering two interesting ticket opportunities in order to provide the best possible service to all football supporters.

How to apply for Tickets?

You can apply for tickets directly from this website. Please note that tickets are not allocated on a first-come first-served basis. In order to determine the ticket allocation, all applications received by the deadline of 16 June 2003 will go into a lottery if demand exceeds supply.

 

How will the tickets be allocated?
If the demand for tickets is higher than the number of tickets available, all applications received on or before 16 June 2003, will go into the lottery process (with the exception of those allocated in accordance with clause 5.4 of the Terms and Conditions). If tickets are still available at another price category, the lottery will again determine which applications will be successful, amongst those applicants who indicated their willingness to purchase tickets at another price category.

 

How do you know if you have been allocated tickets?
Your application must reach Euro 2004 S.A. by 16 June 2003, to be included in the Lottery. By 31 July 2003 all applicants will receive a notice from Euro 2004 S.A. This notice will indicate:
- The tickets you applied for
- The tickets you will be allocated
- The total amount due
- The date when the amount due will be debited from your credit card account.

 

How can you pay?
We only accept credit card payments. UEFA EURO 2004™ recommends the use of MasterCard, Official Credit Card of UEFA EURO 2004™. You need to supply us with full payment details, which will be handled in accordance with the highest security standards. If you are successful with your application, we will deduct the amount due from your credit card account in August 2003. Other methods of payment will not be accepted.

 

How will we secure your data?
Data will not be sent over the Internet until the final step of the application process. All transactions are protected by SSL encryption. All data sent to the server will be protected. Transaction times may vary according to site traffic. All data collected will only be used by Euro 2004, S.A. and its ticketing partners and is subject to the details as laid out in the Terms and Conditions.

 

When will you receive the tickets?
If you are successful in the lottery and after the money due has been debited from your account, you will receive the actual match tickets no later than two weeks before the commencement of the final tournament.

 

The actual Follow My Team Tickets for the knock out stage (Ό Final, ½ Final and Final) will be delivered in accordance with further instructions.

 

Individual Match Tickets

If you want to apply for tickets, you have to bear the following in mind –

Please note that you will be asked to read, understand and agree with the full UEFA EURO 2004™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions during the ticket application process.

You may apply for a maximum of four tickets per Match.

You may only apply for tickets in one Price Category (1, 2 or 3) for each Match but you can vary per match. For example for Match 1, you may apply for Price Category 1 tickets and for Match 24 you may apply for Price Category 2 tickets.

If you are allocated tickets, Euro 2004 S.A. will make an administration charge for processing the order and sending the tickets. This will be 5% of your order with a maximum of € 10,- for domestic (Portuguese) orders and 10% with a maximum of € 18,- for ticket orders from abroad.

You can apply for tickets for all the matches. However, you cannot apply for tickets for matches held on the same day. For example, you can apply for Match 3 or Match 4 but you cannot apply for Matches 3 and 4, because they will be played on the same day.

You must supply us with all your personal details. If you apply for more than one ticket, on request you must be able to supply us immediately with the same details of the other ticket users.

If any matches are oversubscribed, that is the number of applications for any one match exceeds the number of tickets available, your application will go into the lottery. You will be in the lottery for the total number of tickets you requested for that specific match. Your allocation will never be cut back to a lower number of tickets than you have applied for. In other words: on a match basis you will either receive all the tickets you applied for or none.

Once you have completed the ticket application and have read the UEFA EURO 2004 Terms and Conditions, you should explicitly agree with these Terms and Conditions.
Applications must be received on or before 16 June 2003.

 

Follow My Team Tickets

You will be able to apply for tickets to follow your favourite team during the whole tournament. This includes all three group matches as well as the knock out matches (Ό Final, ½ Final and the Final).

Euro 2004, S.A. made available a limited number of Follow My Team Tickets per team. If any Follow My Team Tickets are oversubscribed, that is the number of Applications for one team exceeds the number of Follow My Team Tickets available, your application will go into the lottery. If you apply for this opportunity and you are successful in the lottery, you will receive a confirmation letter by post before 31 July 2004.

 

If your selected team qualifies for UEFA EURO 2004™, you will receive your match tickets no later than two weeks before the commencement of the final tournament.

 

If you want to apply for tickets, you have to bear the following in mind –

You may only apply for tickets in one Price Category (1, 2 or 3). The Price Category of tickets you apply for will be the same for each Match.

In case of over-subscription, your application will go into the lottery. You will be in the lottery for the total number of Follow My Team Ticket series you applied for. Your allocation will never be cut back to a lower number series. In other words: You will either receive all the Follow My Team Ticket series you applied for or none.

For the Follow My Team Tickets, Euro 2004 S.A. will charge you a service fee of 10% per ticket series for setting up this unique product, processing the order, sending the tickets for the group matches and supplying you with your tickets for the knock out matches during the tournament if your favourite team progresses.

If you are successful in the lottery the total amount, which includes the service fee of 10% will be deducted from your credit card account.

If your selected team does not qualify for UEFA EURO 2004™, the sum of the face values of the tickets and 50% of the Follow My Team Service Fee will be reimbursed. If your team qualifies for the tournament but does not progress to the next stage of the tournament an appropriate amount will be reimbursed. See also Article 7 of Terms and Conditions or the Follow My Team Ticket Prices.
The face value of tickets for the opening match is higher than the face value of the other group matches. Portugal, as the host country, will play in the opening match, thus the price of a Follow My Team Ticket for Portugal, or the team that is drawn to play against Portugal, will include the Opening Match Premium. If you are allocated a Follow My Team Ticket and your team qualifies for the Final Tournament and will play against Portugal in the opening match, you will receive an additional Invoice for the Opening Match Premium in December 2003.

Follow My Team Tickets may only be ordered by using a credit card. Other methods of payment cannot be accepted.

You must supply us with all your personal details. If you apply for more than one Follow My Team Ticket, on request you must be able to supply us immediately with the same details of the other ticket users.
Once you have completed the ticket application and read the UEFA EURO 2004™ Terms and Conditions, you should explicitly agree with these Terms and Conditions.
