How the Riba-Oeste International Junior Football Festival ties in with Football's second largest event
The Riba Oeste Festival Schedule and the Euro 2004 Schedule Relationship
Maximum attention will be paid in develiping the schedule of the Riba Oeste Junior Festival so that particpating teams may be able to follow their favorite national teams during Euro 2004.
The Euro 2004 schedule (link under recent headlines) will not be finalized until December of 2003, following the completion of all the qualifying games, but in the meanwhile you can get familiar with the game venues and times of Euro 2004 to help in your own planning.
The Riba Oeste schedule will have its games played in mid-morning to early afternoon, so that teams may be able to get to Euro 2004 venues for early mid-evening games. When the Euro 2004 schedule is finalized we will pay particular attention to request from Riba Oeste tournament teams to schedule the rest day to conicide with the Euro 2004 game of their choice, and considernations such as early kick off times to again allow Riba Oeste teams to follow their favorite Euro 2004 team.
Teams that are coming to the Riba Oeste are encouraged now to go to the Euro 2004 ticketing link (information under recent headlines) and start their own process of acquiring tickets for Euro 2004.
Please note that 6/8 of 10 Euro 2004 venues are within 1 to 2.5 hours or the Riba Oeste Festival competition sites.

Between 12 June and 4 July 2004, Portugal will be the centre of the sporting world as the UEFA EURO 2004™ final tournament takes place. Europe’s top 16 national teams will compete for the Henri Delaunay Trophy in the biggest international sporting event ever staged in Portugal.
EURO seeks improvement Well over a million people attended UEFA EURO 2000™ final round matches and the final tournament captured a worldwide cumulative audience of over seven billion viewers, making it the third most popular sporting event in the world. UEFA EURO 2004™ in Portugal looks set to exceed even these impressive figures.
Planning well underway Just as the qualifying campaign has begun for 50 countries, the planning and organisation of one of the world’s biggest sporting occasions is well underway. Indeed, a company Euro 2004, S.A., a joint venture between UEFA and the Portuguese Football Federation, has been set up to organise the Final Tournament in partnership with UEFA, the Portuguese Football Federation and the Portuguese Government.
Ten venues across Portugal UEFA EURO 2004™ will feature 31 matches in ten venues, stretching from Faro/Loulé in the Algarve to northern venues such as Porto and Braga.
