SYL Referee Web Assignor Database Instructions

The Super Y-League/Super-20 League has developed a comprehensive referee assigning tool on the league website that is required for each of the assignors in the SYL/S20L for the 2009 season. This will allow assignors to effectively assign matches in advance and allow the league office to properly ensure clubs that referees are being allocated by the assignors to all matches. Information from these assignments on the web will also enable the league office to calculate the number of matches completed by each Assignor for payment during the season.

Below are step-by-step instructions to access the SYL Referee Web Assignor Database. By following these steps the assignor is able to:

- Login and update your contact information and the referees contact information
- View /Add/Delete referees from the referee pool
- View all games that you are responsible for assigning
- Assign referees to games on your list

To start the process of assigning via the web, please follow these steps:

1. Access the Super Y-League website at: www.superyleague.com
2. Under the main stories, go to the Referee/Assignor tab and click on the “Ref/Assignor login"
3. Click on the "Assignor Login" link. The login screen will appear, and you will be asked to enter your e-mail address and PIN number.
4. Your email address is used as your login name. Your password was emailed to you via the USL office. If you have forgotten your password please contact Erin McGauley at 813.963.3909 or at erin.mcgauley@uslsoccer.com.

Once you are successfully logged in you are able to access:

A breakdown of all the days you have games that need to be assigned. The number next to the date is the amount of games on that day that needs to be assigned. If you click on the number next to the date, you can assign the referees and then an automatic email will be sent to them and you will be able to view if they have accepted or declined.

There are also links on the left:

1. "Update contact information". Please fill in all of the blank boxes which include first and last name, address, all phone numbers, and e-mail address. Once you are completed click "Save".
2. "Referee List". Please input all required information for each of the referees that you will be using for the season. Once a referee is assigned to a match, and automatic email will be generated to the referee informing them that they have been assigned to the match.
3. “Email Broadcast Referees”. This link allows you to email all of your referees at one time.
4. "Game List". This lists all of your games in chronological order and the status of the assignment. You can assign the referees and then an automatic email will be sent to them and you will be able to view if they have accepted or declined.
