Step 1: A player is evaluated over the course of the season in Super Y-League competition by the

scouting staff of the division in each age group.
Step 2: At the completion of the season, or specified time, the coaching staff of each club recommends to the ODP Divisional Age Scout, each player that they recommend per age group that has demonstrated their ability on the field during season play.
Step 3: The ODP Divisional Age Scout in concert with the Technical Directors of each club and the Divisional ODP Staff Coach, assemble a Divisional ODP Team consisting of 18 players (2 goalkeepers and 16 field players). 5 alternates will also be chosen in event a selected player is unable to attend.
Step 4: The Divisional ODP Team will attend the ODP National Camp held on their corresponding age group date in January or February of 2007.
Step 5: Once at the ODP Select Camp, players will be evaluated over intense competition and training by the ODP Staff and US Soccer National Coaching Staff. At the completion of the event a final selection for the ODP Select Team will be made recognizing the top players in the Super Y-League. Once this selection has been made, certain ODP Select Teams may be invited to participate in events to compete against US National Teams, or participate in foriegn tours.
