Freedom Downs Kings, 3-1

Washington Freedom U13 girls, continued their winning ways Saturday morning at the Super Y-League North American Finals, coming out with a 3-1 come from behind victory over Kings Soccer Academy at Ed Radice Sports Complex.

Quickstrike Outscores Ottawa, 5-1

“Jillian has a great work-rate,” said Quickstrike Head Coach George Vizvary. “She’s not a piano player. She is a piano carrier. She never gives up. She is a great leader for us and her high threshold of pain allows her to play through injuries. She is like the energizer bunny.”

Schulz Routs Rangers

Schulz Academy’s U14 boys stayed perfect at the 2009 Super Y-League North American Finals Saturday afternoon, following a 5-0 defeat of New Jersey Rangers at Ed Radice Sports Complex.

 

Fire Outscore MPS, 5-3

The West Michigan Fire Juniors prevailed, 5-3 today over the MPS Renegades in an offensive-minded 3:00PM match in the U17 girls division at Land O’Lakes Soccer Complex. Lauren Booth and Leslie Weisz both netted two goals for the Fire Juniors in the opening-day victory.

Coastal Downs HC United, 3-2

Coastal WFC showed their resilency today at Land O’Lakes Soccer Complex, spotting last season’s U15 semifinalists, HC United, a two-goal advantage before netting three in the second half to emerge 3-2 winners in their first match of U16 Boys group play.
