Explain in detail the different divisions of the Super Y-League and how they complement each other.
The overall structure of the Super Y-League will slightly change in 2005. The existing Super Y-League structure will keep the same geographic conferences and divisions, but each division will split into two separate competitive divisions. These two divisions will be called the "Super Y-League Premier Division" and the "Super Y-League First Division". Each division will contain only 60-72 teams in each age group in the U.S. and Canada.
Most clubs will probably have some teams in the Premier Division and some teams in the First Division. Since there will be a promotion and relegation system in place, the make-up of the divisions will change slightly from season to season giving those in the First Division the opportunity to compete in the Premier Division.
This will give clubs the opportunity for their teams to play in a division that is not above or below their ability, which will balance the competition for teams in each club and provide structured development. Overall, the competition quality of each of these divisions will be improved providing more intense matches, without some teams being over- or under-matched.
