Outside of the two top competitive divisions, the Super Y-League will also add a Second Division. What is the Second Division?
The Super Y-League Second Division will provide an opportunity for clubs that do not want to compete at the regional level to do so on a smaller level at a sub-regional or local level, depending on the area of the country. In some cases this will be existing leagues, state leagues or privately operated leagues which are affiliated with the state associations that would like an alternative to being sanctioned by their state association and want to become a part of a national league system. It is our belief that we can provide a better system for these leagues and clubs, providing them with more financial flexibility, governance, control and a system that links them with professional soccer. In other cases we will form these leagues for clubs that have second teams within their club, or form them in areas where state associations prohibit leagues from being formed. This will provide a true league system for clubs, while simultaneously aiding the operational aspects of league management and governance that will be consistent no matter what state you live in.
