The Brooklyn Knights, a premier club operating on three plains of United Soccer Leagues development ladder (Super Y-League, Super-20 League and Premier Development League), are scheduled to kick off their SYL season this weekend when they host FC Westchester in U14 and U15 boys’ action. The club’s Super-20 team, who opens their 2008 season in a match set for Sunday June 1 with Red Bull New York, is scheduled to play an exhibition match this weekend with another rising New York City based club, FC Harlem.
The Bakersfield Brigade Super-20 League Men’s team announced today that they will kick off their 2008 season on Saturday, May 3 against the Lancaster Rattlers in Lancaster. That match is set to kick off from the Rattlers Pete Knight High School Field at 4:00 PM. The match marks the beginning of USL Super-20 League soccer in the Southern California Division. 
H.C. United struggled in the southeast division in 2007, failing to qualify any teams for the Super Y-League North American Finals but despite their adversity from a season ago, the Tampa based club is poised to refocus their efforts heading into the 2008 season. HCU’s goal in 2008 – qualify multiple teams as it did in 2005 and 2006.
