Chivas Names USL Heavy Staff
Staff includes PDL Blue Star and S20 coaches
Carlos Llamosa returns for his second season as an Assistant Coach for Chivas USA. The Colombian-born Llamosa most recently appeared on the USL radar in August of 2009, when he led the Chivas USL Super-20 League side to a berth in the USL Super-20 League North American Finals.

Blades and Bubonja on trial in MLS
"We are excited to identify two players capable of playing with the first team from our open tryout," said Fire Senior Manager of Player Development, Paul Cadwell. "We were obviously aware of both players coming into the tryout. Now that they have been given a chance, the onus is on them to grab it."
USL Opens S-20 Finals Bidding Process
“Each season we have had players who competed in the Super-20 League Finals move on to play professionally,” said USL Senior Director of Youth League Development, Jeff McRaney. “In the cases of Ingrid Wells and Bryan Arguez, we have had players immediately join the US U20 National Team for FIFA U-20 World Cups. It is always positive to have your latest event be your most successful. That is certainly the case as our 2009 North American Finals contained four players who were drafted in the top two rounds of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.”
Join Us in Growing the Game!
As many of you may have noticed in the past week, we at USL have been a lot more active on our previously established social media homes at Facebook and Twitter. Well, that is just the tip of the iceberg of our upcoming efforts to help Grow the Game in North America.
