The Southeast division of the Super Y-League gets into full swing this week with many teams in action from all age groups. Florida Soccer Alliance alone has eight matches this week, while Orlando FC and FC Sarasota each have five games to be played respectively. If last season was any indication of the quality of play in this region, soccer fans will be in for another treat as season ten of the Super Y-League is well underway. [+]

Plantation Eagles FC announced today plans to join United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League for the upcoming 2008 season. The club will field teams in the U13, U14, U15 and U17 age divisions in both, boys and girls, Super Y-League competition. Plantation begins SYL play on Sunday, May 18 with two home matches against FC Sarasota and two away games against Orlando FC. [+]

FC Westchester will again look to match last year’s season success when it sent three teams – its U14, U15 and U17 boys – to the Super Y-League North American Finals. “We are confident we will be down in Florida again in force,” said FC Westchester Director of Coaching Sean Kenny. “We are currently looking good and are very confident in each of the teams participating in the Super Y-League.” [+]

The Vancouver Whitecaps newest affiliate, Surrey WFC, will be the first Northwest Division club to compete in United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League’s 2008 season when they travel to Spokane, Washington this weekend to face fellow first-year club, the Spokane Spiders in an four-game set. The two clubs will meet in U13 and U14 competition in both the girls and boys divisions. [+]
